Come and experience the River Trail with its varied terrain, magnificent natural attractions, and delicious services! Over the years, the riverside has seen royalty, pilgrims, and many essential trade goods. At the same time, travellers can explore a variety of interesting periods of our history.

The Kokemäki – Huittinen stage is approximately 29 km long and consists largely of gravel roads. Travelling this stage immerses you in the tranquillity of the countryside and the stunning landscapes of Puujärvi-Isosuo National Park. This part of the River Trail offers you beautiful scenery, untouched nature, and historical riverside village idyll. The stage takes you along the riverbank for part of the way, as well as near the national park. For the most part there are little to no services, so be sure to bring water bottles and snacks as needed. However, delicious treats await at both ends of the stage!

The Kokemäki River offers cyclists a unique River Trail in a beautiful cultural environment with varied terrain, stunning natural attractions, and delightful services! Over the centuries, the riverbanks have been traversed by royalty, pilgrims, and many essential goods. At the same time, travellers can explore many fascinating periods of our history.

The route from Pori to Kokemäki takes you over magnificent bridges from one riverbank to the other, following scenic riverbanks and rushing rapids on their final journey towards the open sea.

The journey from Huittinen to Sastamala passes from national park landscapes to the tranquillity of the countryside and crosses a magnificent suspension bridge towards the Finnish Lakeland region opening up from Pirkanmaa.
